Natural hoof care services for light horses, heavy horses, donkeys, mules and minis

I own and manage Lone Pine Ranch Inc, a working ranch and guest facility located near Vernon, BC in Western Canada. In addition to hay and cattle ranching, we operate a busy trail ride business, host barn dances and barbeques, and entertain visitors from around the world. The ranch serves as a research and educational center for natural horse keeping practices. We incorporate lessons learned from the study of wild horses to enhance the living conditions of our own herd.

All of our ranch horses, working draft horses, lesson horses, and our "dude string" are either barefoot or are fitted with EasyCare boots while on the job. Most of our guests have remarked that they have never before seen boots for horses. I enjoy discussing with these folks the most recent developments in hoof care, since it falls right in line with my passion for "keeping it natural" with our horses.

Various equine activities hosted at the ranch include horsemanship clinics, natural hoof care clinics, draft horse clinics, winter ski-joring, Back Country Horsemen events, and an endurance competition.

As an AANHCP Certified Natural Hoof Care Practitioner and an EasyCare Dealer/Hoof Care Advisor, I operate a natural hoof care trimming and boot-fitting business headquartered at Lone Pine Ranch. I work mainly with performance horses, and also provide hoof rehab services for navicular and laminitic cases.  As a Field Instructor and Natural Trim Workshop clinician for the AANHCP, I also offer clinics for owners interested in learning to trim and boot their own horses.
